Fresh Pots!
Digitech Whammy DT. I needed a drop tuner for a few QOTSA songs we are doing and decided to get the Whammy combo in case anyone wants to see a bunch of chubby middle age white guys covering Killing In The Name Of.
In the chain
Gonna need a bigger board.

That is a sweet setup, and good choice with the Digitech. I also happen to really like QOTSA. What songs are on your set list? Lately Ive been loving “The Way You Used To Do.”
Also, coincidentally, I was talking with a coworker earlier this evening about my idea for a “Sound Lazer”. Imagine an effects pedal that could concentrate sound and then sweep it across the audience. It would be the 3 dimensional equivalent to panning back and forth between stereo channels. There is one catch - it would need a special cab. Think there’s a market for this?
Im imagining some weird avant garde noise rock bands playing solos to individual listeners in the crowd or some weird stuff, but Im sure people could come up wi th other uses. If nothing else you could slam your neighbors with like 20 dB of gain, and whe n they complain about the noise the other neighbors will think they are crazy because they can’t hear it. Because sound lazer!

We’re doing No One Knows, which is in C tuning. Without a dedicated guitar set up with 11’s, everything’s too floppy floppy even with a trussrod adjustment. I’ve been on a Songs For The Deaf kick and have been using it for my walk sound track. I’d love to do First They Givith... or Hanging Tree but it’s tough with one guitarist. The Way You Used To Do is a great song as well.
Love the sound laser idea..lol. What a cool idea. I could see someone like Ghost using it somehow. How about technology like a gel-cap sized transceiver that the audience puts between their back teeth that you could control by sending different resonant frequencies?

Nice board! I usually just run vintage dod delay, dunlop wha and 70s muff. Got an mxr Raijin and little bear r.attack recently and a Behringer fuzz on backorder. 40-50 year Sabbath/doom players here :/

I'm surprised there isn't a standard pedal that plugs into the specialized boxes so artists can setup a nice homogeneous array.

Cool! Love the SG in natch! Mines faded cherry with 57 classics. It automatically plays the verse to War Pigs when you pick it up :)
What amp are you running? I went with a Jazz Chorus as a pedal platform...which is why I rock the Plexitube. It has a great chorus/reverb which is what I use the boss FS for. Thinking more about picking up an MS800 or dual rectifier or something with a master volume and use amp gain/clean channel, which would totally change my setup. Maybe for Christmas.

The closest thing to that is a Boss pedal board because all Boss pedals are the same size. Most players pick and choose pedals which all have different sizes, which nessesitates a universal platform with Velcro that you can place pedals as required..

Sweet, my SG is a new Tribute with the 490s and maple neck. Its the fourth guitar I’ve bought this year. I love my Dean V, and like my 2009 Melody Maker single cut(modded by previous owner), the Slick with the p90 is indeed worth the low price. Nothing like a good Gibson! I wish mine could channel Into the Void right away! I play a Crate G-something 120 2x12 solid state Not bad US product. If new project works out will be shopping for amp
